GS Hall of Athletic Honor Mission Statement & Nomination Criteria

Mission Statement:

The George School Hall of Athletic Honor exists to recognize and honor George School student-athletes, coaches, teams, alumni and sport contributors for their achievements and/or contributions to George School Athletic Programs.

Nomination Criteria:

Athlete – A varsity athlete may be eligible for the George School Hall of Athletic Honor after five (5) years following graduation from George School.

Team – A varsity team may be eligible for nomination for the George School Hall of Athletic Honor after five (5) years from the season.

Coach – A varsity coach may be nominated after having coached and retired from coaching at George School for at least three (3) years.

Alumni and/or Sports Contributor – A sports contributor is eligible for nomination. This person has helped to develop and foster growth of athletics in the George School community. Any George School athlete, coach, community member or group who has had a significant impact on the George School athletic community may also be eligible for nomination.

The George School HOAH committee hopes that The Hall of Athletic Honor will bring people together across disciplines, teams, and eras to celebrate achievements.
